MAX THRUSH
Max Thrush is a DJ/Producer based out of San Diego, CA. He’s been Djing for 12 years and producing Trance music for about 3 years. Coming from a musical background is where his spark for music was born, especially the keyboard.
His inspiration for electronic music, particularly Trance, came while attending his first event Monster Massive in 2008. The melodic uplifting sounds of Markus Schulz stood out to him in particular that night. From there the electronic spark was born that just kept growing.
In 2010 Max and his long time friend Compact 33 started the duo ETA. With their high energy yet melodic and progressive style of dance music ETA started playing the downtown area of San Diego at clubs such as Fluxx, House of Blues, local events, and Bassmnt eventually landing a residency there in 2012. After a few years Djing the San Diego Gaslamp District Max set off on his journey of
music production.
He got a hint of making music while in High School for a video project that needed a background track. Instead of finishing the project Max made a few loops of a track in GarageBand. He received no credit on the video project but instead found his passion and calling for music production!
In 2017 the call was louder than ever. He started diving into everything production related, setting the DJing aside for a little while. Some of his influences include Simon Patterson, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Cold Rush, ReOrder, and James Dymond.
He went on to finish 16 tracks in 2018 getting two of them, Lift and Elements, on the record label RÖZ Music. At the beginning of 2019 Max started his Radio Show Rush Radio on Soundcloud featuring a mix of the latest in Trance music, along with some classics, and a guest mix. To start off the radio show Episode 001 features a mix of all original 16 tracks he made in 2018. Also that year he landed two more tracks on RÖZ Music - Vibrations and A New Life.
At the start of 2020 Max featured another compilation of tracks on Rush Radio made the year prior, but this time featuring 21 originals and edits. Continuing into 2020 Max has signed on with MJS Records with his track, Momentum. A driving 138bpm Trance track infused with euphoric vocals and uplifting melodies.
